First and foremost, i would like to thank a self declared hunky hunk Mr Mohd Faisal for creating this blog for me... One good reason for stating this in my blog is for u guys to blame him n not muah if u think it doesn't suit me at all.. Thank you sexyback ( he declare that himself too)!! hehe... Fine, if it's not for him, i won't be blogging at all! LAZY i guess... N also tat i've promised some people tat i'll blog to keep them updated with my life!
Hmmm let's see!! So far so good lah... Anything different about muah? Maybe a little more mature, independent, hardworking, appreciative and most importantly a crybaby... Most of u guys know that i cry myself to sleep for a few nights wen i reached here! But i would say it's decreasing now.. Tengok mood la.. Kalau penat, i'll just dump myself on the bed n snore to lala land.. Kalau tak, haiz.... Imagine so much, den start thinking of this n that (usually negative stuffs) den cry2 den tertido... How interesting!!
N to my meanies... Please be proud of me!!

5 things to describe America/Texas:

  1. BIG - Everything is BIG.. Cars, airports, highways, food servings, supermarket, shopping centres, house, dogs, 3 year olds, schools n many many more
  2. Cheesey - Almost all the dishes contains cheese.. I can't stand dem anymore. Pizzas, macaroni, noodles, rice, tortillas, salads... Oh they are everywhere!!
  3. HOT - It's nearly 100 Degrees farenheit... about 39 degreeC! It is still summer... Fall is coming soon n it'll be a little cooler!
  4. Over 200 TV channels... N i get to watch all the new season of desperate housewives, One Tree Hill, That's So Raven, Spongebob, Gilmore Girls, Top Model, Charmed n...... Hehe!
  5. Inaccessible - You need to get anywhere by car... The metro is so far out n u hardly find a cab! Practically every household have at least 2 cars each... People hardly walk! They just go in n out of their cars..

3 things i love about my new life here in Texas

  1. SHOPPING!! Just imagine 3 times the size of Taka... N over 30 huge shops that sells the kind of clothes from Forever21, Topshop, warehouse, miss sixty, mango..... Those shops can move aside n make way for my new fav shopping centre!! Galleria.. Gigantic!! nothing more could describe it... I was thinking of my shopping buddy wen i was there!! Yussy dear, i actually miss u... I know u would be bouncing ard that place together with me... I feel so 'jakun' u noe... =) Miss ya...
  2. Supermarket... Every single visit to the supermarket makes me sooo excited!! You'll see rows n rows of cereals.. Even those that comes in a big packets like the dog foods. You'll see lots of HUGE fridge that holds tubs of super smackinglicious ice creams. Sooo many instant food.. Huge pizza tat covers ur body n head, more than 30 types of bread n many more... Anni, u and i can go crazeeee just by looking at the types of food they produce.. (oh ya larling, post up the pics from staff nite k.. Love u!!)
  3. People here are just plain sweet! They greet u evrytime u pass by them. Even people u don't know will say hi or How's your day?... Imagine tat in Singapore! A guy u dun know come up to u n say "Looking good today!!" n the first ting tat will come to my mind is "PERVERT!!".. Hehe!

Other than that, i've settled down pretty well.. It's nearly 3 weeks now n many many many more weeks to come! But hey, i got a mission to accomplish here n so i won't go back home till i do my part.. I've not started my assignments yet but i got stacks of books to start reading n my reasearch! I've been volunteering my time at Pines Montessori School.. Tat's where Aunty G is working! Been going around the class, observing the teachers, working with the children and attended 2 spanish/espanol class already.. I've picked up a few words such as; buenos dias- Good morning, adios- good bye, agosto- august, la escuela - school, el lapiz- pencil, la mesa- table, el libro-book n wad abt uno, dos, tres, cuanto, cinco, seis, siete, ocho,nueve, diez, once n doce... Bagus kan? I was taking notes in a kindergarten class.. =)

Been working on some days! Babysitting 2 paskitani girls... Iman n Alina! 3 n 9months old... Imagine me n the 2 girls alone at home! Ibu was sooo worried wen i told her abt it... But hey everything is fine! N starting next week i'll be tutoring the williamsons children 2hours a day! I need the extra cash... But i dun mind u guys transferring ur money into my acct! how bout tat? haha.. N weekends, i would either go for sunday school which is like a madrasah at an hr drive away mosque or to the hospital to work.. They just need someone to tag along the docs n help them with the files! 10bucks an hour, how can i say no? hehe..

N dear Uglyulfy =), the children here are sooo much different den our children back home.. i have 3 year olds in my class too just like my glory babies n diaorang punya mulut.. haiyoh! Tak boleh tahan... they are so matured n they sooo de 'smart'! They can write their names at age 3... they can cut along the lines n they can recognize their numerals n alphabets... I wonder why are they so different than my glory babies back home? Parents play a major role i guess... So guys, work on ur babies the moment they are conceive ok.. I'm already planning on what to do!! Hehe... Kiasu mummy!!

Other than that, i'll be off to Austin for the next few days.. Will be back on mon (sg:tues)! It's labour day and the boys have some kind of football championship there... We'll be there to support them n i'm gonna follow Dina to check out a college! She's already a senior in high school... =) i'll try to update with pictures the next time i blog in okie...

A BIG shout out to all my WILD CUZZYSSS............. I miss u all alot2! If i'm a trilllionnaire i would bring all of u here with me so tat i'll be included in all that cam sessions tat u guys been having... That picture dun look good without me aite!! =) haha.. love ya!
