What did u guys do during ur last few months in Secondary School?

Well this past few weeks have been quite a hectic for Dina, my 17 year old cuz whu is a senior in Kingwood High School... They will be graduating in May 2007 but they have already started partying n enjoying themselves like school is finally over. Gosh! Back in my time, i know many of us whu work our butt off to complete the O'level Ten Year Series (not me of course!! haha..)..

First there was the Homecoming Parade.. That was 2 saturdays ago. All the seniors get together with their "CCA" mates n dressed up for the parade. It was held in KingWood town. They started from there till their school compound. There was the band, soccer team, football, lacrose, Dutch Club, Japanese Club, gymnastic (She's in it!!), theatre n many others la... All the ppl in kingwood sat along the road side n cheer on the kids.. Cool kan? Even though none of their chn is from the skool, they are still so supportive.. The seniors walked, danced, played their instruments, sing n somersault (tat's Dina) n they also throw sweets to the spectators... I got like a bag full of it! =)

Oooh! N there was this thing like every club has a "Sweetheart Couple".. Macam best couple gitu la.. Cute kan..
The couples will be sitting on top of the cars like the picture above n wave around..

Last saturday was the Homecoming Dance. This Dance, all grades are able to attend.. Only the prom is for seniors. Well the nite b4 the dance, they will have this Homecoming Game.. Kingwood football team against another school's football team. Usually the couples whu are going to the dance together will go to the game together too.. On tat Fri, they also had to exchange mums (Some kind of long crochet with the names of the couple n their position. For eg, Dann a soccer athelete with Sarah a cheerleader). It's some kind of tradition to let ppl know whu u will be taking for the dance. I'll take a pic of it n show u guys one day k... Cute kan? Just imagine how much this kids have to spend for their special nite. Dann alone had to rent a tux for 180 bucks.. the mums n flower crochet for the girls hand cost like 80 bucks. The girls had to do their hair, nails, dress n yada yada.. But all this was worthwhile, cause they look great tat Saturday nite...
Was invited by her frend to a pre-party at her house...
