Many years ago some people called Pilgrims lived in england..They were not happy because their king would not let them go to the church of their choice..To find religious freedom, the Pilgrims sailed from England To America..The Pilgrims travelled to America on a ship called the Mayflower. .The Mayflower carried 102 passengers and landed in what is now called Massachusetts..Half of the colonist died during the first terrible winter of 1620-1621..The local people, the Wampanoag (indians), helped the Pilgrims survive..They teach them how to grow crops and hunt in the New World..The first Thanksgiving was a harvest feast celebrated by the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag in the autumn of 1621..The End!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Last Thursday, Class 11 held a Thanksgiving lunch for all the children, parents and grandparents..
Some even brought their uncles n aunties! =)
The classroom was transformed into a mini restaurant with a long stretch of buffet table and adults lunch table for 8 each..
There was Turkey (duh!), mashed potato, macaroni cheese (anni's fav!), stuffings, caserole, macam2 pies, brownies (yeah!), salads n many many more la...
Parents n parents bonded.
Children n parents bonded.
Teacher n parents bonded.
Food was Great.
Everyone's happy n i guess Class 11's Thanksgiving Lunch was a success..

I felt like today is Friday cause there's no work or skool for the rest of the week..
I had fun at the Thanksgiving camp organized by Aunty G.
There was a great turn up... There are some toddlers too.
I had the most fun with them la! I really miss my Glory babies..
It's been such a long time since i'm surrounded by babies..
N it brought back memories of those days wen you are trying to make this toddlers go to sleep but instead you are falling asleep beside them.
I miss listening to the classical lullaby songs tat i will play wen putting the kids to sleep.. Cause Kak Haj, Miss Gao hates it.. haha! I had a chat with the teachers a few days back n it seems like everyone is Busy with the year end concert. Now my babies in N1 is in N2 class.. They have grown taller n some of them have become very independent.. Good Job Miss Liani and Miss Gao.. =) N they were asking if i'm working back there again wen i come back... Errrrrr! We can negotiate la.. Hahhahaha!
