Wad's up guys?
Lately, It's been quiet in here huh? Ya i noe.. I've been 'busy', sick, stressed out with some stuffs n there are a few dissapointments along the way! But hey, i'm back and i have a few tales to share.. Nothing much but more of like the highights for these past 2 weeks!

What have i been busy with? hmmm.. The winter festival tat is coming up have been keeping me up late at night n i kinda get jittery these past few days cause i'm scared we wun be able to pull it off well.. We are presenting Singapore! N i want to share everything about singapore to dem...

- Our National Flag.. (we hang a flag in the class n the chn have been colouring some flags too!!)

- Our National Flower (Vanda Miss Joaquim)

- Our National Icon (the Merlion. the chn are so enthu abt it.. just ask them wad is a Merlion n they can tell you tat "it's a statue with the head of a lion and the body of a fish". Pandai tau diorang!! I drew the merlion seen below with the help of 'craftmaster'. Not bad kan my drawing.. I'm surprised myself.. Come on, Miss Liana can't even draw a decent looking face.. hehe)

- The climate in Singapore (Tropical rainforest climate. warm n humid all year round)

- Not forgetting the meaning of Singapore. Knock ur head twice if u dun noe.. Anak orang puteh ni semua tahu.. "Singapore is also known as Singapura. Singapura means "lion city"

- Singapore is an island country with land area of 699km sq. (detailed kan!!)

- Our currency (we dun have dime or penny or quaters.. i love my sg coins.. tak so confusing)

- The people in Singapore - 4 races, 4 main religions, 4 languages (i didn't noe our national language was malay tau! gosh, i'm stupid but proud.. haha)

We've been teaching the kids the 3 languages.. Made a malay number booklet for them. Those whu could read, was able to use phonetics n sound the words. Sungguh Slang! haha.. N i have to admit tat i didn't noe wad zero was in malay n so i had to msg someone. haha! We had a chart with chinese characters n it's hanyu pinyin.. yi, er, san, so on! Gotta admit the tamil language is quite lacking behind cause i cldn't get resources for it.. But thanks to Abg Zul's student Viva n Ulfy's fren, i get to translate some sentences n numbers..

Wow! it was quite a tongue twister n i hope i pull it off well. Wen i was reading them, it sounded more Jap.. haha! N Viva reminded me tat i have to sound each n everyone of them.. I hope i did! hah.. But it's ok la, budak budak tu bukan tahu kalau salah kan? hehe..

- We learn abt our local transport. I was especially proud abt the MRT. Kan ayah saya kerja kat situ n also cause i'm staying beside one of the station. =) Oh ya do u noe tat LRT in malay is Sistem Rel Ringan? Gosh, y didn't i noe tat.. I learned so much!

- Will be doing batik printing, chinese lantern n mayb rangooli with them next week.

- Thanks to Ibu for sending us some five stones, chapteh, gasing n sepak takraws. I got one problem now!! I dunnoe how to play any of them.. haha! N thanks to tat someone too whu had to travel to town just to get tat bunch of Singapore brochures for me.. Thank you n Love you!!

There will also be many pictures put up on tat day. Skylines of Singapore.. Our marina bay, sentosa, esplanade, CBD area, flats, the different traditional costumes, our school uniforms, the 3 types of dances, weddings, local schools, festivals and so on... I spend hours on the net everyday getting pictures "illegally". I'm sorry if ur pic appears up there on the charts.. haha! but i noe i have someone's permission to feature his picture in the malay corner.. Sunnguh cute! Besar tau, gambar dier.. a4 size! The girl is sooo cute too. Perfect showcase of our traditional costumes. Ngan dier punye samping, songkok n footwear(wad is it call agn?).. haha! Tak payah bilang lah, siapa dier.. the face dun change much tapi cutenessnye dah hilang.. haiz! =) Not to worry hunny, there are many other recognizable faces up there on tat night too.. hee! ooh the best part is, aunty g fren is gonna perform a malay dance for us.. COOL!! (tat means i boleh escape frm fooling myself!! haha)

The exhibition will be on next thurs.. I'm getting excited but i have 101 butterflies fluttering in my tummy.. Wish me luck guys! I'll post up the pictures asap k...
Next up, is abt my babysitting job. just last week i spend 9 hours babysitting a rich family's chn.. I earned 80 bucks just watching them. they are sooo well behaved! I wish my kids will turned out just like them too.. Ok, all the houses here are big right! I mean ppl in my neighbourhood are all those well to do kind but wen i stepped in their house, i didn't noe a person cld be soooo rich like them. A very humble family... Mummy is so sweet, daddy is oh so drop dead CUTE! N kids are like angels.. There's a huge pool! u noe those kinds with rock boulders as deco n stuffs. There's even a huge playground n a wishing well.. ahhhhh! My fav place in the house wld be their kitchen.. If u have tat kind of kitchen, u wld want to cook n bake all day.. I love it!! They have a play room for the kids.. Amboi! Macam toy store.. They have a theatre room, the size of my living room! Jealous kan.. N they have like 3 living rooms in total.. dun ask me abt their bathrooms.. I can't remember! but another fav place of mine wld be the kids room. The girl's room is just like wad i always wanted for my room. Pink of course.. With white furnitures n beautiful closet, curtain, side table n a dressy lamp.. awwww! Ibu it's time to redo my room wen i get back.. =) Will be babysitting them again tomolo.. i hope we dun have to watch High School Musical again! haha.. N ya, i'm getting more extra money this holiday season cause many of these parents have xmas parties to go to.. weeee! Aku Kaya... haha!

One more week to our trip to Colorado. We'll be spending 8 days there.. uncle John have sign me up for ski class.. Pray hard, nothing bad will happen. I ordered my winter boots online already! i bought socks, gloves, sweats, scarfs, turtlenecks, long johns n other stuffs . i still nid to find a cute beanie n ear muffs! Haha.. Well let's say my priority now is not to look good but to keep myself real warm.. I was told tat i have to wear like 3 or 4 layers! I've been sick this past few days cause of the weather n i really cannot tahan coldness.. I dread showering n going outside. All i want to do is tuck myself in bed under my thermal blankie.. Tat's pure joy for me! Everyone noe i can't even tahan the air con in bus n mrt and now i have to endure below 13degrees everyday.. Wad more Colorado? Mayb i'll put on 6 layers n ppl will mistook me as a walking snowman with clothes on.. Great! Boy, nenek will like a picture of me looking like tat.. Remind me to gain weight b4 i get home k or she will shriek at me at the airport! =) I tink my badan ader banyak angin.. i want Aunty Kus now! she wld noe how to make me feel better.. My tapak kaki hurts badly wen i walk n stand. My back ache like an old man and my shoulder blade is so stiff. I walk like a piece of plank.. Slow n straight up! I tink the batam trip tat the cousins plan wen i get back is a terrific idea.. I NID tat! Oh ya, my mum is there now.. pfft!

For the first time in a whole month i got some gifts.. Yeah! GODIVA cookies from Uncle John after 2 weeks away on business trip. But most importantly the long awaited CDs of TAUFIQ BATISAH n HADY MIRZA Weeeeeeeeeeeee! Pure happiness i tell you.. It just came in yest n it's played hmmmm uncountable times la.. I even hooked it up in the bathroom while i was showering today... Hey, i have my own bathroom, i can do wad i like ah... But i noe i shouldn't! sorry.. =)

Thank you hunny.. U noe i love them but of course i love the person whu bought it more! hehe.. but i still dun mind having the 3 of you together.. hehe! If only pompuan boleh kahwin tiga.. Haiz! =) Kidding la.. My comments abt the CD: hmmmm... i wld say Hady's Cd is more upbeat compared to Taufiq's tat has too many slow love songs.. But like i said, i love them no matter wad la! Do you think i shld put it up for the exhibition? haha.. They will be like "Wat? there's Sg Idol too?" hehe.. ok i better stop gushing! anyway i'm hoping for a guy out there whu's able to play the guitar to sing for me the last track on taufiq's CD "I Promise forever".. I'm in love with tat song now! Check it out ok...

Once again, thank you sexy (even though i'm sexier!!). hehe.. Tat was really nice of you.. At least i can count on you for something even though most of the time u make my darah up!
