An anniversary is a celebration of a relationship, and of reaching a point in life's journey together. To me an anniversary is a transition, a time to review your relationship and ask, What can we do to make it better?
I admire the couple above. Two people of different personalities became part of each other's heart. Ibu loud, selalu over, mentel, full of life and free spirited then there's ayah, quiet, serious, focused and insightful. But hey they make it worked. Maybe it's the special bond the two of you share knowing that the other half is always there to care. Or maybe it's the special moments that you have had together. Whatever it is, please spare me the details.. =)
Sometimes i could not understand them. How they could tolerate each other especially when either one of them buat 'hal'.. Ibu complains that ayah is not romantic. Well i'm sure ayah complains about her too.. hah! but i shall not disclose it here! There are times when they start acting all so young-y and mushy. Holding hands and stuff in public, well those are the times i wish i could disappear and pretend they are not related to me.. hahahaha! Kidding la.. that was eons ago, now i'm matured and i know more about 'L-O-V-E' so i do understand.. =)
Still, their marriage has been an inspiration to me.. I wish and pray that one day i would find my perfect soulmate (definitely more romantic than ayah.. hehe!) who would stand by me through 'ups' and 'downs' and we will create our very own love story just like the two of you do.
